Professional Videography for Online Storytelling

A professional, story-driven approach to video that emphasizes coverage, clarity, and authentic moments—crafted for real people, real events, and online audiences, without the cost or complexity of large production crews.

Cinematic Coverage in 4K

Videography isn’t just about recording motion — it’s about coverage, continuity, and storytelling.

My background in photography and real-world production evolved naturally into video work built around thoughtful camera placement, intentional movement, and clean, controlled workflows.

I approach each project with a small-crew mindset: plan the angles, protect the moments, and shape the story in post-production — without a crew. Every project is executed by me, end to end.
Scope & Intent

I am not a large-scale Hollywood or broadcast production company — and I don’t aim to be.
I’m a professional photographer and videographer working intentionally in my retirement years, focused on the art, craft, and storytelling of video rather than large crews, inflated budgets, or unnecessary complexity.

This approach allows clients to receive professionally produced video — thoughtfully shot, carefully edited, and delivered to modern standards — without the cost structure of a traditional production company. In many cases, this saves clients thousands of dollars, while still delivering polished, intentional results.

It’s also important to note that nearly all of my video work is created for online viewing — social platforms, websites, promotional use, and digital distribution. My work is not intended for mainstream broadcast television or Hollywood theatrical release, and it doesn’t need to be to be effective, engaging, or professional.
The goal is clarity, story, and connection — where people actually watch video today.
Who This Is For

This work is a good fit for clients who:

• Value story, atmosphere, and authenticity over spectacle
• Need professional, polished video without the cost or complexity of a large production company
• Are creating video primarily for online audiences (websites, social media, promotions, digital releases)
• Appreciate a solo professional who plans carefully, works efficiently, and stays unobtrusive
• Want collaboration, trust, and creative flexibility rather than rigid production structures

Who This Is Not For

This work may not be the right fit for clients who:

• Require Hollywood-scale crews, broadcast trucks, or union production environments
• Expect scripted, storyboard-driven productions with multiple departments and approvals
• Are producing content for mainstream broadcast television or theatrical release
• Need large teams, on-set hierarchy, or traditional studio workflows
• Prefer high-budget spectacle over thoughtful, story-driven execution
Experience & Approach

I work comfortably in fast-moving, unpredictable environments where moments happen once and cannot be repeated.

Video Projects

I create and contribute to a wide range of video projects, including:

Cinematic short films — concept-driven visual storytelling

Promotional videos — concise, purpose-driven visuals for brands, creatives, and organizations

Corporate & business video — professional storytelling for internal communications, branding, and outreach

Band demo reels (EPKs) — polished performance and promotional edits designed for press kits and booking

Music videos and live band performances — using provided 2-track master audio, professionally synchronized in post-production

Theatrical plays and stage performances — uninterrupted coverage with multiple perspectives

Festivals — dynamic coverage capturing atmosphere, performances, and audience experience

Trailers — cinematic previews designed to build anticipation and narrative interest

Documentaries — story-focused coverage emphasizing authenticity and continuity

Video journalism — observational, narrative-driven reporting rooted in real moments
• Training seminars — clear, structured coverage designed for instructional clarity and long-term usability

Interviews — clean, focused storytelling emphasizing subject, sound, and intent

Commercials and advertisements — concise visual storytelling designed for brand messaging

Automotive rollers and motion footage — cinematic movement captured safely and intentionally, including synced music and/or voice-over narration

Events and live gatherings — natural moments preserved without intrusion

Small wedding ceremonies — intimate, respectful coverage focused on story rather than spectacle

Cinematic B-roll — supporting pacing, transitions, and visual continuity

Whether a scene is energetic or restrained, the goal remains the same: capture it cleanly, with options, and without interruption.
Automated Camera Coverage

I work with multiple synchronized cameras to ensure reliable coverage and flexibility in the edit, without over-complicating the production.

My core 4K video system includes:

• Canon R50 V and Canon 90D (caged, matte-box equipped)
• DJI Osmo Pocket 3
• DJI NEO drone

Additional 4K camera angles are available when a project benefits from expanded coverage.

I can also incorporate multiple 1080p cameras for B-roll, safety angles, or projects where full 4K capture is not required.

For projects where continuous coverage matters more than camera movement, I offer automated, unmanned camera setups. Cameras are pre-planned, locked, framed, and synchronized, allowing moments to unfold naturally while preserving multiple perspectives for post-production.

This approach is well-suited for performances, talks, installations, festivals, and long-form events.
Delivery Fomats

Final deliverables are tailored to where the work will live.

Footage is captured with horizontal framing as the foundation, allowing vertical edits to be created intentionally rather than as crops of convenience.

I deliver 9:16 vertical video optimized for platforms such as TikTok, Facebook Reels, and Instagram, while preserving full cinematic horizontal masters for platforms like YouTube and Vimeo.

This approach provides flexibility across platforms without sacrificing image quality or storytelling.
Production Tools

I work with professional-grade production tools to maintain consistency and control throughout the shoot:

• Professional cameras and lenses
• Dedicated professional audio capture
• Constant LED lighting with modifiers
• Stabilized motion using gimbals and specialty support devices

Tools are chosen to support the story — never to distract from it.

Working Style

My workflow is designed to be quiet, efficient, and deliberate.

Technical decisions are made before the shoot so the environment can remain focused and uninterrupted. In post-production, footage is shaped into a cohesive, cinematic piece that feels intentional rather than assembled.

Pre-Production Approach

I don’t rely on rigid scripts or traditional storyboards. Instead, I work from concept discussions, shot planning, and coverage strategy.

This approach allows me to remain responsive to real moments while still shooting with the edit in mind. For projects that require structure, I collaborate with clients to establish intent, pacing, and key beats before filming begins.
