While the majority of my automotive, pet, street, and landscape photography is commissioned work with project-specific pricing, I occasionally offer TFP sessions in non-portrait categories when the concept is creatively compelling.
Most people think TFP (Time-For-Print) only applies when a photographer and a model collaborate. But the truth is, TFP is simply about trading value instead of exchanging money. It’s a collaboration where both sides walk away with something meaningful.
Here’s how it works beyond portraits and modeling
PETS
I photograph your furry (or feathered!) loved one in exchange for portfolio use.
★You receive: beautiful, professional social media JPEG images to keep.
★I receive: portfolio material for my pet photography — plus the ability to share select images as prints in my Picfair store and under my pay-what-you-can model (with upcharges for high-resolution printable files).
AUTOMOTIVE
Car enthusiasts, this one’s for you. You bring the ride; I bring the lens.
★You receive: stunning social media JPEG shots or videos of your car, perfect for personal use or social media.
★I receive: access to unique vehicles for my automotive portfolio — and the opportunity to offer select images as wall art through my Picfair store and under my pay-what-you-can model (with upcharges for high-resolution printable files).
LANDSCAPES & LOCATIONS
Sometimes TFP means access. Landowners, small businesses, or venues may allow me to photograph on their property.
