Retired architect. Freelance photographer. I create art through collaboration. These days, I say yes to projects that spark my interest and inspire my creativity. I’m based in Tempe, Arizona, specializing in photojournalism, portrait, automotive, street, and cinematic storytelling.
My work is rooted in creativity, experience, and a deep respect for the people and places I photograph. I create images that aren’t just seen — they’re felt. My goal is to capture those fleeting, meaningful moments that become treasured for a lifetime.
Photography is both my passion and my craft. I take on a select number of commissioned projects each month, with pricing based on an hourly rate and/or the specific needs of each project, including lighting, travel, preparation, and post-production.
Sometimes a project involves payment and sometimes it doesn’t — and that balance works for me. What matters most is the creativity, freedom, and joy that this chapter of my life allows: the ability to create art because it inspires me, not because I’m obligated to. While I occasionally offer select TFP (Time-For-Print) collaborations, they are rare and chosen only when a concept truly resonates with my artistic vision. TFP is never my default approach; it’s a deliberate, intentional creative partnership.
The TFP approach is where we both invest our time and creativity to bring an idea to life. Because I’m retired, I have the freedom to choose the projects that truly inspire me. All of my TFP collaborations receive the same care and attention to detail as my paid sessions — because for me, every image deserves excellence.
Every photo shoot results in thoughtfully finished, edited JPEG images — ready for social media and personal printing. I take pride in delivering polished photographs that reflect both our connection and artistic vision.
