TFP Agreement & Release
This agreement is for clarity, respect, and fairness in collaboration—not legalese. Please read and sign so we’re both on the same page.
This agreement is between Photographer: Kara Riedas (Photographer) and Collaborator: ___________________________ (individual, model, property owner, business, or organizer), regarding a collaborative Time For Prints (TFP) creative project.

1. The Nature of TFP
This is a non-commercial, collaborative session. No money is exchanged.
a. The Photographer contributes expertise, time, equipment, editing, and creative direction.
b. The Collaborator contributes time, presence, property, or project participation.
c. Each party benefits from the final images for portfolio, personal, and promotional use.

2. Delivery of Images
a. Photographer will deliver a curated selection of edited social medai JPEG images typically 2048 pixels on the long side.
b. RAW or unedited files will never be released.

3. Usage Rights – Collaborator
The Collaborator may:
a. Use the delivered images for personal, portfolio, social media, and promotional purposes.
b. Share the images online with credit to Photographer (e.g., “Photo by Kara Riedas”).

The Collaborator may not:
a. Sell, license, or transfer the images to third parties for profit.
b. Use the images in commercial advertising without written permission from the Photographer.

4. Usage Rights – Photographer
The Photographer may:
a. Use the images for portfolio, website, exhibitions, contests, and online galleries.
b. Offer selected images for sale as fine art prints, wall art, or digital licenses through the Photographer’s professional store (e.g., Picfair).
c. Showcase the images in publications or promotional materials connected to their photography.

The Photographer will not:
a. Sell the images for commercial advertising that implies endorsement by the Collaborator without additional written consent.
5. Optional Prints & Add-Ons
a. Prints, albums, and wall art are optional add-ons available directly through the Photographer’s print partners for a fee.
b. Complimentary digital images provided under this agreement are for personal and promotional use only.

6. Release of Likeness / Property
By signing this agreement, the Collaborator grants the Photographer the right to use their likeness, appearance, or property (e.g., car, product, event space) in the images for the purposes outlined above.
7. Agreement of Intentions
Both parties agree to:
a. Communicate respectfully before, during, and after the session.
b. Honor the collaborative process with integrity.
c. Respect each other’s time and effort as the core of the TFP exchange.
